1. Hi-Kalibre Equipment IBOP (or drill stem safety valves) solutions for NOV/ Varco Top drives, including the popular TDS-9, TDS-10, TDS-11SA & IDS-350.

Hi-Kalibre Equipment’s 5193 & 5194 valves are specifically engineered to meet the specifications of the TDS-9, TDS-10, TDS-11 & IDS-350 top drive, actuator and associated equipment.

Our valves have bronze inserts and low friction coated stems to reduce operating torque and increased service life. Removable inserts protect the stem seal areas in the body to provide maximum body life.

Hi-Kalibre has a patented split ring and seat design for ease of equalization and improved serviceability. Metal to metal seat seals provide maximum positive sealability.

The Hi-Kalibre valves have a 3-1/16” (77.79 mm) ID which specifically matches the TDS- 11 quill.

The Hi-Kalibre valves are API monogrammed and have a NACE internals (H2S trim). The valves have an O.D. of 7-3/8” (187.33 mm) with an I.D. of 3-1/16” (77.79 mm). The upper valve has a SH-SH length of 22-1/2” (571.5 mm) with 6-5/8 RRH box by 6-5/8 RRH box connections. The lower valve has a SH-SH length of 15-7/8” (403.23mm) with 6-5/8 RRH box by 6-5/8 RRH pin connections. All connections have API stress relief details applied to the threads. General assembly drawings are available upon request.

Hi- Kalibre valves are field serviceable and complete repair kits are available for all our valve product lines directly through Hi-Kalibre or any of our agents.

Our valves for the TDS-9, TDS-10, TDS-11 & IDS-350 have a working pressure of 15,000 psi. Engineering load curves are available upon request.

Our valves can be remotely actuated with our patented Rotary Hydraulic Actuator or through the existing top drive manufacturers actuation system.

2. Ward Leonard 400 HP AC Drilling Motor – WL250040 solutions for NOV/ Varco Top drives, including the popular TDS-9, TDS-10, TDS-11SA.

The Ward Leonard WL250040 AC induction motor positioned on a universal mounting designed to be a drop in replacement for an incumbent motor on a TDS-11SA and other top drive systems. The WL250040VDTAV is manufactured for high efficiency and optimal use in top drives and rotary tables applications, it is constructed with nodular cast iron and designed to withstand high shock and vibration conditions. With Certified Class H insulation and a maximum temperature rise of 95°C, the WL250040 is the preferred choice for many Rotary Tables & Top Drives systems including TDS11SA.

Minimal to none, depending on manufacturers/builders. Some manufacturers and rebuilders may modify the TDS-11SA for a particular purpose resulting in some minor adaptions being required to fit a WL250040VDTAV into a TDS-11SA (brackets, guards, wiring, etc). It is practically impossible to catalog every minor variation among all top-drives currently in service or being built and as such, is practically impossible to plan for every variation that might be present on a working rig.

The motor is ATEX and CSA approved.

3. Intera provides retroffining top drive NOV TDS-11SA with new Service Loops.

We will use OEM Amphenol/Pyle Industrial Connectors when requested. We also use AERO AE and EFP series plugs that are a value added OEM distributor of all plugs and receptacles that our service loops require.

We provide hoses built by Texcel Industries which meet any and all requirements for our service loops including but not limited to bend radius, + and – temperature control, water ingress and oil resistance.

We can and do provide OEM spec cable when requested but also use alternative manufacturers. Any cable we put into our loops is high quality made cable that will long outlive the estimated time of life that is required by any OEM specification. General Cable is our American made manufacturer that we use in most of our applications.

Any other parts required for building service loops such as OEM flanges, lifting eyes or lifting hose and cable grips are manufactured here in Oklahoma City by a certified machine shop who build all parts to the top drive OEM specs.

We use 3M products for potting both our plugs (reinterable resin potting) and hoses (non-reinterable resin potting).
